Hilla Eskelinen is a pianist originally from Oulu who graduated as a musician from the Oulu Conservatory in 2023. She is currently completing her studies in Music Pedagogy at the Arts Academy of Turku University of Applied Sciences in Eveliina Kytömäki’s piano class.
Nature was a major source of inspiration for Sibelius’s compositions, and in the Sommar Sibelius concert Hilla performs nature-inspired piano works such as Birch, Oeillet, and The Oarsman.
During the 2026 summer our museum comes to life on weekends with live music in the Sibelius Hall. With this, we wish to provide a possibility to experience our exhibitions a bit differently. Naturally, you may also have a seat in the concert hall and just enjoy the music.
Sommar Sibelius is a collaborative project between the Sibelius Museum and the Turku Arts Academy where music students perform music by Jean Sibelius during short pop-up concerts.
The Sommar Sibelius concerts are included in the admission price. You can also pay with the Museum Card! Find the whole series here!
