Meren Sisaret: Tempo di caccia

The ensemble Meren Sisaret (Sisters of the sea) has delighted audiences at the Medieval Turku event on several occasions with their singing and playing. This year, they will also be seen in the event’s closing concert at the Sibelius Museum.
In the concert Tempo di caccia, the ensemble focuses on late medieval Italian virtuosic caccia canons, that is, hunting pieces. Constantly in search of new timbral colors, the ensemble also performs other medieval music, as well as Renaissance works, Sephardic songs, and modernist miniatures.
